[앨범 소개]

블랙핑크의 리사와 로살리아가 RCA 레코드와 함께 자신의 레이블 LLoud Co.로 발매된 "New Woman"이라는 곡을 발표했습니다.

 

스웨덴 가수 토브 로가 공동 작곡했으며 아리아나 그란데의 히트메이커 맥스 마틴과 일리야의 프로듀싱으로 "New Woman"이라는 곡이 탄생했습니다.

데이브 메이어스 감독이 연출한 비디오에서 리사는 초고속 펑 소리로 시작해 자신이 "깨어있는 아우라"를 가진 "새로운 여자"라는 것을 재발견하기 위해 불 속을 걷는 것에 대한 빠른 구절을 전한다

리사는 트랙을 소개한 후 "Bitch, 너는 방향을 바꾸는 것이 좋아 / Reviving up my uh-uh-aura"라고 노래한다. 이 노래는 완전히 속도를 전환하고 로살리아가 속삭이는 스페인어 가사인 "Yo vivo pa' cantar, no canto pa' vivir" (나는 노래하기 위해 사는 것이 아니라 노래하기 위해 사는 것이다.)라는 가사로 시작한다

RATING

맥스 마틴의 프로듀싱의 프로듀싱에 토브로의 유려한 멜로디 라인...

빡! 터지는 건 없지만 분위기 반전을 로살리아 파트에서 확실히 주면서

그 한순간 사람들을 확 몰아 넣은 것 같습니다.

 

그런데 이 트렌지션이 자연스럽게 이어졌냐하면...

전혀 아니라고 생각합니다.

예전 엔믹스의 믹스팝 초창기를 보는 듯한 느낌이었습니다.

 

결정적으로 로살리아의 랩이 너무 안어울렸습니다.

무슨 의미인진 모르겠지만 조용한 분위기에 빡빡빡

꽂히는 랩을 하니 너무 목소리가 튀는 느낌이었어요.

파트별로 이어지는 매개체가 충분하지 못했다고 생각이 드는 노래였습니다.
